Travis Smalley
Pastor Travis Smalley, a native of the Cincinnati area, has been the Lead Pastor at Lakota Hills since 2006. He earned his Bachelor's degree from Clear Creek Baptist Bible College and his Master's degree from Liberty University.
Some of his passions include multi-generational and multi-ethnic ministry, seeing people connect with Jesus and grow into fully-devoted followers of Jesus, coaching young leaders and church planters.
What he loves most about LHBC is the amazing generosity of our congregation.
In addition to serving as full-time Lead Pastor at LHBC, Pastor Travis serves as the Send Cincinnati Missionary with the North American Mission Board. His responsibilities are to discover, develop and deploy leaders and congregations to start churches in the Cincinnati area that are in desperate need of gospel-centered churches.
He is married to his wonderful wife, Robin, and they have two adult children: Anita Koopman, who is married to Travis, and JR Smalley, who is married to Aleks. They are blessed with two grandchildren, Finn and Jordyn. A self-proclaimed geek, Travis enjoys reading, studying, listening to sermons, spending time with his family, and watching football.

Ryan Miller
Ryan Miller has served at LHBC since 2014. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Pastoral Leadership from Liberty University and is currently pursuing his Master's degree from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. He also serves as LHBC's Youth Pastor and Outreach Co-Director. Ryan is passionate about seeing people come to newer and deeper levels of knowing Jesus Christ. He greatly enjoys having the opportunity to work with youth and seeing them grow in their relationships with Christ. What he loves most about LHBC is our involvement in the community.
Ryan is married to his beautiful wife, Cydney, who serves joyfully alongside of him in ministry. Together they have two beautiful daughters, Solay and Anja, and a son, Rhydian. In his free time, he loves to play sports like baseball, football and frisbee golf. He is also an avid movie watcher.

Ryan is a huge fan of Sherlock Holmes and his favorite movie, Gladiator.
David Anderson
David Anderson grew up as a missionary kid in Venezuela and Spain where he got an inside look into the global Church and its beautiful diversity. David came to know the Lord at a young age while in Venezuela, but it wasn't until he had moved to Spain that God started calling him to full time ministry as a worship leader.
David went to Cedarville University in Ohio and graduated in 2016 with a BA in Music and a BA in Worship. He then completed his M.Div. from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2024.

While working here, David married the love of his life, Jillissa in 2017. They now are parents to their three kids Chloe, Asher and Micah. They love serving the church together as a family.

David is passionate about worshipping God and encouraging others to join in with the rest of creation in glorifying our great, creator God. David has led worship since high school and has had the privilege of leading traveling worship bands, working as a worship intern at churches and camps, and even leading worship internationally in Costa Rica and Spain.
David's definition of worship is, "Worship is the correct response to a proper understanding of who God is and what God has done for us."
Fun Fact:
David loves ethnic food and is always willing to try something new and or weird.
Scott Clark
Scott Clark, a native of Oxford, Ohio and graduate of Talawanda High School, has been the Children's Minister at LHBC since 2012. Scott loves leading children to follow Jesus, and teaching and encouraging children to share their faith with the people around them. Growing up as a child in a divorced family, Scott directly saw and felt the hardships that many children are facing today; because of that, teaching children and helping them to work through the many issues of growing up is a profound passion of Scott's. He counts it a great honor to have the opportunity to be a godly influence in the lives of children and their families. What he loves most about LHBC is the love that he receives from his church family, the community involvement, and knowing that anyone who comes to visit will hear the gospel and receive sound, Biblical teachings.
In addition to serving as Children's Minister, Scott also works full-time as the Assistant Vice President/ Officer Banking Center Manager & Lending Officer at First Financial Bank.
He is a great husband to his wife, Lori, and a wonderful role model to his three children, Karley, Sean, and Joey. In his free time, Scott enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, and exploring the rural areas where he grew up near Darrtown, Ohio.

Robin Smalley
Robin Smalley, a native of the Cincinnati area, has serves as LHBC's Administrative Assistant. She earned her degree from University of Cincinnati. Robin finds joy in serving and helping others, specifically through the role of administrative assistant.
Robin is also LHBC's English as a Second Language Director. What she loves most about LHBC is that our church family loves to spend time together as well as we are eager and excited about sharing the gospel with our community.
Robin has been married to Travis for over 20 years and God has blessed them with two amazing children, Anita, who is a lawyer, and JR, who runs his own landscaping business. In her spare time, Robin loves to spend time with her family, bake, be outdoors, garden, work in her flowerbeds, sit outside on her favorite porch swing, fish, walk, and hike.
