Kid's Ministry

our Kid's Ministries

"Teach a youth about the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it."—Prov 22:6. Here at LHBC, we value our future generations and preparing them for life and godliness. That is why we have a children's ministry packed with biblical truths, scripture memorization, and lots and LOTS of fun. Whether it's Sunday morning, or Wednesday evening, we make a point to teach and train our kids what it means to be a child of God.

We also really care about the safety of your children which is why we do background checks on all of our volunteers that help in the children's and youth ministries, and we will always have two volunteers in a room.

If you want to volunteer to help out the kid's ministry, contact Scott Clark.

Jump Start

Every Sunday morning from 10:30-11:30, we have Jump Start for 1st-6th grade. This is an opportunity for all the 1st-6th graders to learn about God's Word in a large group context or children's church.

1st & 2nd Grade

The 1st and 2nd graders meet from 9:00-10:00 every Sunday to learn about the Bible in a small group setting.

3rd & 4th Grade

The 3rd and 4th graders meet from 9:00-10:00 every Sunday to learn about the Bible in a small group setting.

5th & 6th Grade — FLIGHT

The 5th and 6th graders meet from 9:00-10:00 every Sunday to learn about the Bible in a small group setting.

PreSchool

We have preschool classes at both the 9:00-10:00 hour and the 10:30-11:30 hour where your kids can meet with other preschoolers and be taught some exciting stories from the Bible and what that means for our lives today.

Nursery

We have nursery services at both the 9:00-10:00 hour and the 10:30-11:30 hour where your children will be watched and prayed over. We also have pagers to reach the parents in the worship service if your child needs a specialist.

Team Kid

Every Wednesday evening from 7:00-8:00, we have TeamKID for 1st-6th grade. This is an opportunity for all the 1st-6th graders to learn about missions and famous missionaries. We want kids to know that we are all missionaries to wherever God has put us. We do this throughout the lesson plans on top of playing a lot of fun games and making friends.
