Serviing

Serving is really part of our identity here at Lakota Hills. All the great ministries that happen here only happen because of people like you who find where they can serve best. There are so many different areas that you can serve here at Lakota Hills, so we're sure that you can find a place that best suits you. Follow the steps below to find different areas to serve in.

We want everyone to serve and use their gifts, but we also want to make sure that we are protecting both the community that we're serving and the reputation of Lakota Hills to our community. That's why we ask that everyone who volunteers fill out a background check before serving especially around the next generation.

Once you've filled out the background check, you can put it in Robin Smalley's box (outside the front office) or you can just email it to Robin Smalley.

Step 2: Find Your Fit

Community Events

Between 20-30 times a year, we go into our surrounding community and put on free block parties for our local schools or neighborhoods. We'll provide inflatables, cotton candy, snow-cones, and popcorn to show our community God's love.

Can you serve others popcorn in the name of Jesus?

Can you monitor kids as they jump on a bouncy house?

Chair Setup

Boldly proclaiming your faith is difficult at any age, let alone your teen years. At LHBC we look to help students boldly proclaim the gospel through their own relationship with Jesus Christ. Through Bible studies, monthly activities, hanging out, and yes summer camp students will find and build on their relationship with Jesus. To get involved in our bold youth ministry, check out our page below.

Folding Bulletins

We have small groups for all ages on Sunday mornings at  9:30 so people can go to a morning church service as well as plug into small group.

Adult small groups are available all three of those times.

Preschool and Children Sunday school is available at 9:30 and 11.

Youth Sunday school is available at 9:30.

If you have any questions or want to get plugged in, talk to Pastor Ryan Miller.

Christmas Choir

We are serious about developing future pastors, missionaries and leaders for the global church. That is why we offer a series of classes to train those people who are committed to growing in their faith, and leading/planting churches. Check out the LBI page below to get more info.
